Introduction to LE Grant Writing and Management

Laura Nygaard is the Grant Acquisition, Project & Financial Analyst at Salt Lake City Police Department. With a year and a half of experience, she is relatively new in the grant world, having previously served as the executive assistant to SLCPD Chief Mike Brown for 8 years. Laura has written several awarded grants and helps manage the department’s millions of dollars of federal, state and private grants. She has benefitted from valuable training and resources and loves sharing them with others. Laura lives in Sandy with her husband and two teenage boys and enjoys traveling and reading.
