(WASHINGTON, UTAH) — On Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the second annual Utah Chiefs of Police Association (UCOPA) Administrative Assistant Conference, inaugural president Mia Chase announced the board for the Utah Law Enforcement Administrative Professionals (ULEAP) organization. This new non-profit organization for administrative professionals is the first of its kind in Utah and is specifically formed to support law enforcement executives.
Today’s announcement invited law enforcement administrative professionals to join ULEAP for a nominal fee and encourages networking and educational opportunities specific to policing activities.
“We are confident this will serve as a great opportunity to unify police departments’ executive assistants,” said Wade Carpenter, Park City Chief of Police and past president of UCOPA. ”It will help facilitate excellent network and training opportunities for these invaluable members of our respective teams.”
ULEAP consists of nine board members; all currently serving various police chiefs in the state of Utah. A list of the inaugural board members is attached.
